Circumstances:
The single engine airplane was carrying one passenger (a mining employee) and a pilot from Rackla to Mayo, Yukon. En route, it crashed on the slope of a mountain located north of Mayo Lake, about 45 km northeast of Mayo Airport. The wreckage was spotted an hour later and both occupants were killed.
